Story Slam 2020: I shouldn’t have, but I…

Our infamous Story Slam will once again open the Festival, on Thursday night, March 26, 2020.

Catch the flavor of last year’s stories here.

The 2020 Story Slam theme must contain the phrase, “I shouldn’t have, but I…”

This event is a classic Woodstock evening, celebrating the joy and art of storytelling.

This makes for a rollicking good time. You’ll be hard-pressed to find a more supportive and interactive audience than this one.

The winner goes home with a Woodstock Bookfest goody bag, overflowing with prizes from our sponsors.

Our host for the event is Ida Hakkila, whose voice you’ll recognize from her glorious radio show, “The Heavy Light Show”.

Want to be a storyteller? Email Martha and she’ll throw your name in the hat. Storytellers will be picked Feb 15.
