We love to feature meaningful local art in our Bookfest raffles, and this year we’re delighted to bring you the work of Elliott Landy, iconic photographer of the Woodstock music scene.

Elliott Landy graciously donated an original 17 x 22 photo of Janis, at the Newport Folk Festival in Newport, Rhode Island, 1968, for our raffle this year. This beautiful pigment ink print on Canson acid-free paper retails for $1250.

Landy’s portraits have graced the covers of many of the best-known albums of the era, including such classics as Bob Dylan’s Nashville Skyline, Van Morrison’s Moondance, and The Band’s second album, The Band.
